Welcome to Hold My Life. Some of you may have read this webcomic before, on your desktop, either on Girlamatic.com or on AZCentral.com. It was continuously published in weekly installments for about 4 years, starting in 2005. It was originally created almost entirely in Flash, and featured a mp3 soundtrack in each episode of a different indie band from somewhere out there in the world.
When I started, the smartphone had not been released or even really talked about. And Myspace was popular. Facebook did not exist, nor did Twitter. Same for iPhone, and Android. When I put Hold on hold, all of those things existed. I put Hold on hold pending a reformat that would address these advances.
I’ve recently decided to bring Hold My Life back, but this time in a different format. A more mobile friendly format, and a more social friendly format. Bear with me while I experiment with the best way to reformat the old stuff. And once that content is all available, I’ll get started publishing the new stuff.
